10 FREE Ways To Edit Your Photos Online

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

There are some great photo editing tools and software programs available for the pro digital photographers in the world, but how easy are they to use?  What about the amateur photographer? Have you ever noticed the price tag on some of the software programs out there? And then there's the "lingo" and the "learning" curve... Geez, I give up!

Here's an alternative that will be inexpensive (free), give you a variety of options, and allow you to select the best and easiest way to get the most out of your photo editing experience.  Regardless of how techsavvy you are, or techy defficient, one of these will be just right for you.

Here's the original article about Watermarking and Protecting your online photos and images, which also includes the Top 10 Photo editing sites, a couple tips on what NOT to do with online photos, and a photo editing tool that you can embed into your Blog or website to increase traffic, provide additional value, and keep visitors on your page or site even longer.

WARNING:
These sites can be extremely fun, incredibly useful, and very addicting to any compulsive photo enthusiasts.

Brad -- I love phixr for lightening up those dark interior pics which I usually have had to retake.  Off hand, do you know if any of the others do a good (easy) job at lightening/brightening/contrasting?  Thanks for posting these!

Thanks a bunch, Brad. I use Picnik alot and love it but I think it has some limitations. This is a great list - bookmarked - so I can try some different ones out.

I really like Picnik but will check out some of these other sites. Thanks for sharing. Brad, we talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago. You were very helpful with your vast computer knowledge. And you were right, AR had to upload the social media icons due to some problem; not mine. Thanks, you are very smart and helpful.

Thanks Brad, I've been trying to learn how to use Gimp - another free one. But... I'm no expert so mostly what I'm getting is frustrated.

I want to figure out how to remove the background and leave just the "foreground Image." Do you happen to know if one or more of these offers that function?

Barbara - the contrast and brightness settings, etc. are available options in most of these sites.  You'll have to explore and play with them to see which ones you like best.  :-)

I have used picasa and picnik and find these pretty easy to use.  I was looking for a good one to delete the background out from my profile pic and ending up using the trial version of corel paintshop pro.  Pretty cool but my image resolution ended up pixelated and not sure what I did wrong.  I will give one of these others a try my next time around.  Thanks for the info.

Now that Google owns Picnik you can't beat the two of them together. I can do almost anything I want with the combo and it doesn't take me forever. It's a great tool for my listing pics especially.
